Andrei Zagainov
AI systems architect · inventor · builder

I design complex systems and take them all the way to real-world use.

Private AI assistants with long-term memory, distributed AI workloads, multi-role information systems and the apps around them. Hands-on in code since 2020, with a lawyer's eye for requirements.

IVEXA, a private AI assistant I designed and built end to end

A system that ran every day for a year, from the architecture down to the iPhone app.

What it did

Self-hosted, private by design, in real daily use from October 2025 to October 2026. Now archived.

  • Long-term memory with semantic search, so the assistant keeps context across months of work.
  • A task engine that plans the work, runs it in an isolated sandbox and tests its own results before reporting back.
  • An approval and security layer: critical actions wait for the owner's Face ID; protection against hidden instructions in websites and emails.
  • A proprietary distributed (P2P) architecture for AI workloads, plus Windows and iPhone apps.
  • Operations: dedicated GPU server with an open-weight LLM, private network with no public endpoints, encrypted storage, nightly encrypted backups, a self-healing watchdog and a tested migration to a new server.

Continuous real use for a full year, on infrastructure I set up and ran myself.

USpatents

Patent applications filed in the United States. Technical details are confidential.

IVEXA is not available for public demos or access. To evaluate my skills, I am happy to do a paid test task on your real problem.

Earlier systems · 2020–2023

Built with my own team at IT Kibertronika

I founded and ran IT Kibertronika, a software company in Russia. I set the architecture and priorities, led the developers and worked in the code alongside them in Python, JavaScript and Java.

EKS: electronic utility services platform

A multi-role platform that connects residents, building management companies and city administrations. Residents file and track requests from a phone or PC with SMS sign-in; management companies take requests into work, assign staff and deadlines, share documents and send notices; the city can audit how citizen requests are handled.

Fully developed and tested with real management companies. A nationwide rollout and an integration with the state housing information system were prepared, but did not go ahead.

2020–2023Information system

Driveoff

An information system for recording and handling cases of unpaid fuel at gas stations, so each incident is logged once and followed through.

2020–2023Web + mobile

Geo Patrol SOS button

A website and mobile app with an emergency SOS button, launched for real users.

2020–2023Mobile app

Fitness network app

An Android app for a chain of fitness centres: remote presentations for clients and individual nutrition plans, built by adapting the web platform for mobile.

Capabilities

What I can build for you

From the first architecture sketch to a system that runs every day. I use modern AI coding tools to move faster across stacks, and I review and test every result myself.

AI assistants & agents

Memory, retrieval (RAG), planning and tool use, with tests that check the agent's own output.

Distributed systems

Spreading AI workloads across machines while keeping results identical.

Complex information systems

Multi-role platforms with permissions, workflows, documents and reporting.

Defensive security

Private networks with no public endpoints, encryption, approval flows and protection against prompt injection.

Apps around the core

iPhone, Android, Windows and web clients that put the system in people's hands.

Running it in production

Docker, Linux and GPU servers, backups, monitoring, self-healing and tested migrations.

How I work

Clear, written and accountable

Writing first

All my work communication is in writing, by email or messenger. Decisions, specs and status updates are on record and easy to review.

Prove it on your problem

I start with a paid test task on a real problem of yours, then a trial period. You judge the work itself.

AI-accelerated, human-verified

I use AI coding tools openly to move faster across stacks. Every result is reviewed and tested by me before delivery.

A lawyer's precision

I hold a law degree. I read requirements carefully, spot ambiguity early and deliver what was agreed.

Direction

I want to build the systems that make AI trustworthy enough to hand real work to: private, verifiable and running every day.
